Las Vegas Gambles with an Uncertain Water Future – New York Times.

Reservoir Under Construction South of Denver, but no Water to Fill Reservoir – Denver Post

Rueter-Hess Reservoir, one of the largest water supply reservoirs in Colorado, is being built by Parker Water and Sanitation District south of Denver.  Although the reservoir would be a huge boost to an area that primarily relies on unsustainable ground water supplies, the water supply for the reservoir is not certain and most likely will need to be imported from as far as Flaming Gorge Reservoir.  Click on the following link to the full article: Rueter-Hess Reservoir Water Supply.
